Breathless showed up in pieces -it felt/was a memory I was trying to remember but never lived or a deja vu, or dream. you know, those moments you walk with ghosts. (and you know you have). Funny thing though, it’s the most hopeful uplifting track that’s come together yet. Or at least the most complete-‘feeling.’

Breathless is about that in-between feeling.
When you’re not lost, exactly… just unsure if you’ve been found.
It’s about longing, and recognition, and the moments we spend asking the universe:
“Is this it? Is this real? Are we home?”

Musically, the tempo hovers at 121 bpm somewhere between a heartbeat and intentional dance. I wanted it to feel suspended in air, like you’re floating through someone’s memory of you.

The lyrics came from mostly late-night thoughts I had no intention of sharing. But something in the process pulled it all together and now it’s out there.
Maybe it’ll find the people who need it. Maybe that’s you.

If you’ve ever felt alone next to someone, or wondered if you were close to something without realizing it… this one’s for you.
