Everything almost didn’t happen. It was part of a series of songs that felt like they were going nowhere. I was wondering if writer’s block had set in, but as I circulated through a few songs to reset the ears, this one suddenly had a chorus. Not sure where it came from, but it made sense and the rest of the song began to click into place. I broke up the drums a bit and hope you enjoy the beat – as well as the breaks.
