This presented some interesting technical issues. I’ve given up on RMS for now, but from a standpoint of how it sounded on headphones versus studio speakers was concerning. Reeling in the bass with some comp and eq seems to have helped but i still fight a lot with with the high end of guitar (solution – no more guitars haha). I think the ending chorus needed that extra energy though and i didn’t want to dampen it too much. Pushed vocals front and center to the end until they give way to the final wall of sound.
