“Take the Fall” is an exploration of friendship, heartbreak, and the lessons we learn through life’s tough moments.
Take the Fall was created during a tumultuous time. With an upended schedule, I have been fighting to re-insert music into part of the daily routine again. So, it’s been a bit, and I got picky with this one, which can sometimes be problematic, but let’s see what you think!
Take the Fall Lyrics
i’m aware you need to be with the stars
know it’s that kind of age
focused only on your own desires
wouldn’t expect anything else
but you said you’d always be a friend
learned a new lesson here
never thought that when i needed you most
you would all but disappear
so i’ll take the fall
i’ll take it all
i’ll take the fall
you know i’ve been played for the fool
unfortunately
maybe i’ll get past this one too
but when you see life like me
regrets become clear as day
know the mistakes already made
still I stuck by you when things got rough
and
you couldn’t do the same
why does it seem to happen to me
-why does it fall apart
so why does it have to end
always
with a broken heart
i hope it comes to us sooner
but no one’s holding our hand
all decisions we have made
and
have to live with
why does it seem to happen to me
-why does it fall apart
does it have to end
always
with a broken heart
i’ll take the fall
this time ill take the fall
soaked from expected rain
in the end it was no one’s fault
coz no one else is left to blame
why does it happen to me
so why does it fall apart
does the story have to end
always
with a broken heart
